I drew this series for a close friend of mine. Her long dark curls are her most striking feature so I wanted to highlight them in these pieces. My aim was to portray her as someone who’s beauty transcends history, appearing in myths and legends throughout time. I found that keeping the images black and white and using minimal posing successfully achieved this.
